Default 18's

Has anyone ever tried running 275/65/18's on a stock 4wd Tundra? I got a killer deal on a set of Pilot LTX's (which in my opinion are about the best tire out there) and I was wondering if I am going to find any rubbing problems. It's a 32" tire which falls between what everyone says works (265/75/16 = 31.6") and what everyone says doesn't fit (285/75/16 = 33")

Any ideas?

I have not purchased wheels yet; just the tires. Any suggestions on wheels?

Volk TE37's. A personal favorite. Check them out in the link below. They do come in other colors. If you do a search you will find lots of info on this. Moda R7's are another rim I like. Check out my pics for a photoshop of those on the Tundra.

I would think that the 275/65/18 would rub. You are not just increasing the diameter, you are also increasing the width. The Pilot has a squared shoulder and I would bet would rub. FYI, If you ran a 9" wheel it would help reduce the chance of rub. The wider the rim, the shorter the tire.
