I've been doing a lot of searching the internet for good deals on wheels... but there seems to be a lack of good online wheel dealers (that I can find at least). So... let's a get a list going here with some good sites and reviews if you've used them. I'll get the ball rolling...
I haven't actually used any of these stores so I'm not recomending or not recomending any them. Thanks!
P.S. I'm looking into either Axis Regulators, Ion 170 Alloys, or Mickey Thompson Classics (all with those cool simulated beadlocks )... so with sites including those would definetly be appreciated.

Hate to say it, but Sears was the best price I found on BFG ATs (285/75/16) $181 a tire... Free rotation / balance for life. Not a Sears fan, but it gives you a bargaining point when you hit up your local tire shop.
the website is not as friendly as it needs to be, but they have great pricing on tires and wheels - especially TOYO product - free shipping on wheel and tire packages
bought my enkei tsp1's and toyo proxes s/t (265/50R20) from them and have had no problems at all - very satisfied

Don't go to Sears Auto Service. Ever. Ask me Why. Why? OK, I'll tell you why.
Went to Sears to buy tires for my wife's Honda a few months ago. The tires were "on sale" so I went in, got a price, signed the work order, and they replaced the tires.
When the work was done, they tried to charge me $100 more than what they had quoted me. Why? Because they forgot to include the Mounting and Balancing charge into the original quote. I told them that I should only have to pay what I was quoted, but they said, No, I had to pay the whole thing.
Why couldn't they just void the M&B charge? Because "the computer won't let them do that."
Can't a manager override that?
Apparently not. It is "to keep employees from giving away merchandise or services for free."
I did demand to speak to a manager and did speak to one. Not a real manager, mind you; some young manager trainee who they put in charge that Sunday afternoon so the other more senior managers could play golf. She did not even offer to make some kind of adjustment. Basically, it was "Call our 800 number if you wish to register a complaint."
Since they had me by the Short Hairs, I ended up paying the extra $100 so I could take the car home.
As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went outside to pick it up, there were scuff marks all over the white paint. Seems the kid who did the tire installs didn't bother to take much care with the air hose and the impact wrench; instead swinging back and forth over the hood and the truck and banging it against any body panel he could.
I went back in, spoke to the Service manager (who had refused to waive the extra charge) and raised Holy Hell right there in the store, much to the gawking stares of other customers and the embarrassed chagrin oft he Service manager. He grudgingly got a can of polishing compund and Turtle Wax off the shelf, and under my watchful eye, proceeded to buff out all the marks on the car.
I did call their 800 number. I'm still waiting on my refund for the M&B charge.
Re: Online Wheel Dealers List (Please add any suggestions)
That mounting an balancing charge is actually pretty much in line and it's kind of generally known that it is going to be in addition to the "cost" of the tires. But they still should have mentioned something about it along the way rather than assume that someone knows that. It's never just the tire cost. they almost always mention the mounting and balance in the same breath.
It was kind of dumb for them to assume you knew that and that should have been part of a quote. Just because some new kid who didn't know better forgot isn't really an excuse. You based your purchase on that price.
Usually they'll give you a quote which is tax and installation though so you can compare apples to apples.
Did the work order include a final price on it or did it just say - replace tires?
I like Cosco's $7.00 per tire install and mount charge vs the usual $20.00 plus at most other places, but I don't buy my tires at costco even though it's the cheapest place to buy tires. They're too much of a headache to get tires rotated vs. the place I go to where I call and an hour a later my tires are rotated and the vehicle is back to me again.
I never base my tires purchases on price per tire though. It's nice to pay less and get a good deal but I'd rather pay more and get good service over the life of the tire (like professional rotations and balancing). The only time I really figure price into it is when someone is charging so much over "average" that I'll tend to avoid them.
That's exactly how I usually avoid poor service like you had. Though, to be honest, for the most part I usually have had good service when I've bought things from the sears auto dept. Maybe the moral is don't buy equipment when the "day staff" are gone since they usually know what they're doing since they do it every day. When dealing with vendors I mostly try to deal with the "9 to 5" guys since they know what they are talking about.
