Stock, 31 x 10.5.
With a three inch lift, you can fit 32 x 11.5 without rubbing.
If it's just for looks, you can probably fit bigger.
I'm answering from book knowledge, not experiance. You might get some different answers.

When I had a Tacoma, the most I could fit stock was 31x10.50.

whats an estimated price for the 31's? just some rough numbers. and should i just wait until the first tire change to get bigger tires?

On my 97 SR5, I have 32 x 11.5 BFGs on the stock suspension. And I'm talking about MY truck... First-hand experience... Not "I know a guy who has...".
I've had them for about 4 years... Getting ready to replace the whole set. I have never noticed any rubbing. Love 'em!!!
