Can anyone point me in the direction of a 20" wheel manufacturer who makes them in a painted silver finish instead of polished/chrome? I'm not really into the "bling factor" associated with polished wheels. I prefer the look of a painted wheel, much like you might see on, dare I say (gulp), a Dakota R/T.
I admit it, I'm too lazy for polished rims , I just don't have the patience to polish and clean them consistently. I'd much rather just wash/wipe off the wheels with a painted finish. I had a nice set of polished wheels on my Tacoma for about four months, but eventually changed back to the factory alloys.
I've been searching through magazines and the net and I almost exclusively see polished wheels in 20" or larger sizes. Nary a painted finish wheel in larger sizes to be found......................
Help a brotha' out...... Anyone have any suggestions?
The Enkei Deep 6, I like the way they look, heres a link to a set of those wheels on a silver tundra, they are 20" silver with mirror finish lip. I think they look really nice. But I'm curious to see if there are more silver wheels out there. Good luck on your search.
go hit up jason at american wheel and tire and tell him jeff sent you. my company makes a buttload of wheels in both metallic silver and black finishes.
best one i have seen so far was the amnesia (nitza amnesia - thats the brand and model) in metallic silver (the face is silver, and the 3" lip is machined... nice look) on a green tundra. sorry... dont have any pics of it though.
run those with a 285/50 and you'll be set. perfect stance, perfect width, perfect offset, nice comfotable ride while still gaining a ton of cornering and handling ability.

Thanks for the input. Those are nice looking wheels, but still pretty close to the Texas Edition Tundra 20" wheels they sell here in Houston.
Actually, they're pretty darn close to a set of 18"s my neighbor has on his Ford SuperCrew. Can't copy that guy.................
I like the fact that they're smooth, no fake rivits or numerous channels and ridges that collect brake dust and dirt. The pair that Microdot referenced are hella nice too, but too many of those dirt-catching features for my tastes.
Not sure if you know it, but Antera's are uber expensive. If you've got deep enough pockets for them, you might as well go with HRE's. HRE's are made each time they're ordered, and can be made in basically any offset, bolt pattern, finish, etc. Expect to pay upwards of $4000 for a set.

The problem I'm finding is that there are some great looking wheels out there, like these:
