Offsets and Such
OK. Here's the situation.
Next spring, I plan on doing a lift and new wheels/tires on my 2K1 TRD 4x4 Tundra. I want to do everything all at once so I want to have all my ducks in a row before I begin.
I will probably go with a 2 3/4" EZ-LIFT front lift and 1 1/2" AAL's for the rear. With the additional weight of a brush guard on the front, that should render the truck more-or-less level. I like the EZ-LIFT because their spacers mount above the coil assy (v. inside it) which means easier installation and no change in shock travel. I going for looks more than offroad capability.
Now for the wheels and tires. I plan on going with 285/75-16 BFG's on American Racing Outlaw II's. But I'm concerned about rubbing.
I've been reading the various sundry forums on the subject, specifically the offsets and backspacing, and now I am more confused than ever.
Bottom line: What kind of offset/backspacing am I looking for to avoid rubbing with the above setup?
