Question Enkei Phatt or Deep Six for '05 Tundra

I would like to get a set of aftermarket wheelsets, and now I can narrow it down to Enkie, but still can't decide which rims to get. There is a Deep Six 20" which supposely fit well on the new '05 Tundra including no interferrence with the tires sensor. Check out picture at http://www.enkei.com/TruckSpecPAGES/deepsixSpecs.html

On the other hand, Enkei Phatt 20", I thought might look better on a white '05 Tundra, but not sure if there is any problem. Some of the rim the hup might not fit at all even though size and everything else is correct. Not to mention it also interfer with tires sensor. check out picture at
http://www.enkei.com/TruckSpecPAGES/phattSpecs.html

So, with these two choices, I am not sure what to get. Both of these are about the same price. If you have any experience or suggestion, please send post it on here.

Thanks in advance.

The Deep six looks real nice as you can see if you search for Enkei in the photo section.

The Phatt will not work on the Tundra due to the small centerbore.

How sure are you with the Phatt will not work with Tundra? I am leanning toward the Phat that this point, but if you mention it might not work then I won't order it.

Yes, the Phatt does not come in a large centerbore and will not fit. I also agree that they are extremely ugly... but, that's just my opinion.

FYI - Contact me by IM or e-mail if you are interested in a set of the Deep Six wheels for the Tundra that are NIB. -

I like the look of the Enkei deep six wheels. The Enkei website indicates center bore of 78 or 84 mm Is this right? I have an 01 looking for 20" wheels and 295/45s. w/ 106 center bore. Wheel hunting has been a nightmare. So many variables.
On a 9" wheel how much backspace is needed to accomadate that big a tire? What are the specs on the Enkei wheel in question?
Are the different specs required for a 2X4 and 4X4? 01 to 05?

As others have stated, the Phatt won't work due to the bore. I found a set of brand new Deep Six on ebay and personally love the look. Pics are uploaded if you'd like to have a look.

Good luck...

The Enkei Deep Six posted on their website and the Enkei Deep Six from Toyota available for the Tundra are not the same. You can clearly see the difference in the pictures from my posting on this page Where to Buy Enkei Deep 6 Wheels? . Notice the Enkei's on their website have the lugs covered by the center cap and the Toyota Enkei's are exposed lugs and a bullet style center cap. You can also see the Toyota Enkei's up close in my photo gallery. The actual Toyota exposed lug Deep Six is ONLY available through a Toyota dealer because Enkei signed a contract with Toyota.

The other difference is the new style Deep Six (second release) available from Toyota parts departments are that they have TWO different valve stem holes to accommodate either low pressure sensor.
