Post Yokohama Geolandar

Has anyone had any experience with the geolandar AT+II, 6ply rating? I bought a set of 265/75/16's and all of a sudden the front end got a real mushy feel. Is this common with a taller tread pattern? Is it a soft sidewall

Well, I know flyin6, another member here, has a set and loves them. So, you might want to contact him. But, I don't want to make you sound like an idiot, but is there plenty of air in them? That'd be the first thing I'd check.

no offense taken keiphers!
That was my first thought also. The tire called for 35psi so that's what I had in it. I tried 40 and still I thought the tire seemed soft.

Hmmm... Well send a PM to flyin6, because he has these tires and should be able to help.

I replaced the stock BFG Rugged Trails with the Yoko's and have not noticed any "mushy" feeling. Maybe 'cause I went from a "P" tire to a "LT" tire.

If they are less than 30 days old and you're not happy with them, I believe they have a free 30 day trial, satisfaction guaranteed.

had them for a month, then went back to BFG AT k/o ... got stuck in a friends driveway with them... 4lo didn't help... snow/ice packed flat level surface... with the BFG never had that problem before or since.

Kudo's to Discount tire for giving me full credit on them when I traded again.

I have them and don't really like them. They ride hard and have very poor snow traction.
