3 5/8 vs 3.5 back spacing

is there really a difference between 3 5/8 vs 3.5 back spacing?? i am looking at the xtreme alloy wheels... and they offer a 3.5 back spacing. everyone talks of the 3 5/8.... so i just wanted to be sure. i really prefer the look of the xtreme alloys.

nope, there's really not.

fwiw, i'm running 3" backspacing in the front...probably not real good for the bearings, but it's working out with 315/75/16s.
