Default Will Tundra wheels fit a 05 Tacoma

Found a set of 04 Tundra 17" wheels and tires for sale and was wondering if they will fit my 05 Tacoma Prerunner. I know the bolt pattern is the same but the offset could be different, if anyone knows please reply so I can buy them soon THANKS

I have got my 17" Tundra Alloys on my 05 tacoma 4x4. I don't know if the backspacing is different, but doesn't appear to be so. They seem to work fine for me.

Did your Tacoma come with the 265's or 245's, mine came with the 245's the 265's are alot wider, same height, should work fine - Do you have pictures of your truck with the Tundra wheels on, I bet it looks sweet.

245's stock. Actually 265's are taller by over an inch. My Tundra wheels have the 285 70 17's that I ran on my Tundra. They are three inches bigger than the stock 245's. They rub pretty hard on the Tacoma's mudguard, but not on the frame, and are a little ways away from the upper control arm, on the Tundra they rubbed slightly on the frame and very close to the uca. Right now I just have those wheels/tires on the back of the Taco, my gearing seems to be very similar, I don't notice the power loss, and when the speedo shows 60, the GPS shows 65. Oh yeah, no lift on the Tacoma yet either. No pics yet.

the non trd offroad tacos come with 245/75/16 tires which are 30.5" the trd offroad comes with 265/70/16 which are 30.6" the difference is only 1/10th of an inch.

correct me if im wrong, but the 265's are NOT taller by an inch, in fact they are taller by a mere 1/10th of an inch

The wheels and tires are off of a 2005 Tundra V8, 17-7.5 with Bridgestone Dueler H/T 840 tire size is 265/65/17. Its the wheel Iam wondering about, the offset is 15mm, I guess if they dont work I can sale them to get my 800 bucks back. Tires and wheels are new, I think its a good deal but Iam not real crazy about the tread pattern, its a highway tire.

Right, the 265 70 16's are only .1" taller. Correct me if I am wrong, but he is talking about 265 70 17's on a Tundra wheel, which measures 31.6" an increase of 1.1" to be exact.

Go here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html and compare my stock wheels and tires and the one Iam looking to buy ----- stocks R 245/75-16 ----Tundra wheels are 265/65-17. They are almost the exact same height.
