Tires and WheelsDiscussions and experienced advice about tires, wheels, traction control, proper balancing, improving tire life and more.
This is a discussion thread titled "2000 Tundra Owners what you Riding on?", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I keep trying to decide what wheels and Tires to get then I have to find out what spacers are needed and lift. So instead of worrying about that I figured I would just ask what everyone else is riding on.. if they like it..

So What are you 2000 Tundra Owners riding on??
Sorry, not a 2000 owner, but a 2001 owner (close enough?) and found a set of rims through America's Tire Co. I was trying to keep the cost below $500. The guy at the shop said to check out MB Motoring's line-up which is apparently exclusive to America's Tire Co./Discount Tire. I ended up buying the Blitz model. I bought them out the door for $499. I am very happy with them and they look even better in person! Extremely easy to clean! Here's the link: http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com Plus I have pic's of them on my Tundra in my picture gallery.
Good luck with your decision.

I'll second Herb on the MB Motoring wheels, America's tire company really has good prices on these. I got Nitto TerraGrapplers and the 16" wheels for $999 out the door.
I've been through several sets of tires and here are my opinions on them, your mileage may vary:
1. My next tires are going to be Toyo Open Country MT
2. I have Goodyear Wrangler MT/R now, they are great off road and snow tire but a pain to keep in balance
3. Used to have Michelin LTX A/T and found thes to be very good and the longest lasting of any tires I've run
4. I went through a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers in just under a year, I will never own these again
5. OEM tires, nuff said--get rid of these as soon as you drive off the lot...
