Default New rims and tires don't fit HELP!

I have a 04 2wd Tundra with 3 inch spacer lift. I purchased 17x9 Helo rims and 28570r17 BFG AT. They clear fine but when I put the front tire on it hit the upper control arm. So the backspacing is off. So what do I do now ?
Someone told me to order wheel spacers, I just don't know why they sent me a rim that doesn't fit. So I am going to try to get them to correct this problem. Any input would help Thanks

The Helo 17x9 has a couple different backspacing sizes.
The ones I used to have were a 5.5" b/s and I barely cleared the upper control arm.
There are a couple members that have the same size wheels with a 4 or a 4.5" b/s. get either one of these and you should be fine.

why not they just want to make a sale, economy is rising to people like you who don't think about what they buy before you buy it, Live and learn my friend, live and learn

besides you going to really use those 33" tires or just drive aroung looking cool and burning up extra gas ( think about gas it isn't going to be cheap for ever)

    Thanks for your help guys.
James it wasn't that I didn't know what I was buying. The tech I talked to said it would fit so why would I think otherwise. They are sending me new rims with the correct offset.

I have the same truck, rims and tires except in MT, and if it were not for having TC upper arms, my tires would not clear the upper arms either.
