Default 37's question...

if i run some 37' tires, will my drivetrain survive even when i 4 wheel? i dont do a lot of rock climbing or anything, just mostly mudding but it is my daily driver. also will 4.88's work with 37's or will i have to much power loss? or do i move up to 5.29's?

You'll kill your CV's. Rear driveshafts should hold but, with a lot of tire spinning in the mud, you may kill those as well. I snapped my driver side rear on a slick section and I'm on 35's. Would like to go to 37's next year or when the tires wear out. 4.88's at a minimum but, if you can get the 5.29's, might as well. TMS2U is running 37" with beadlocks and is using 4.88's. You may want to PM him for questions.

I wouldnt go above 35 with the stock drivetrain if you plan to wheel at all. As Mike said if you get those meats spinning and then they find some traction it will be easy to frag your cv's or diff

37's and 4.88 ar a perfect combo thast yield a slightly lower than stock ratio
