Clear Coat Alloy Wheels
Does anyone know if the Toyota Alloy Wheels (five spoke) have clear coat applied to them on the back from the factory?
I took my wheels off and the brake dust will not come off the backs of the front wheels. I've tried two applications with Megs wheel cleaner (2nd application with a brush) and it still embedded in the crevices.
If nothing else will work, I'm considering sanding the back of the wheels and clear coating them.
The other problem is the rust that has form around the hub and behind the lug holes. Can anyone recommend a product to remove the rust without hurting the wheel's finish?
