Default OEM wheels& tires to XSP's

I need some feedback from people who have made the chaneg from the OEM 17" wheels with Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 to the XSP 20" Enkei and Pirelli's. Did the 20" wheels make the truck drive much stiffer and almost harder to handle. I mean the steering wheel took much more effort to turn. the truck seems to be more squirmish and jittery? I have made this change and these are my fisrt impressions in how the truck drove and handled. It seemed as if I had to step on the brakes much harder to stop as well. Anyone experience this after they switched from OEM 17" to a set of 20" wheels with 295/45/20 rubber on them?

As a side note, I know how everyone who owns a Tundra have had bad experiences with the OEM Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 wether it be traction or wear. I don't know if everyone knows this but the OEM Dunlops have a UTQG of 300 (this is a tire wear rating, pretty low about a 30,000 mile tire), traction rating of B and temperature rating of B. Overall this is a sub-standard tire that Toyota purts on the Tundra. Pretty disappointing in my opinion for a $35 plus vehicle. My OEM tires lasted about 8,000 miles and they sucked in the snow.

Default Re: OEM wheels& tires to XSP's

larger rims have more rotating mass than the rubber and air they replaced, so they will take more effort to slow down.

you also went from a 265mm section width to a 295mm...the tread is undoubtedly wider as well, so it takes more force to turn the wider contact patch. the wider tire is also not helping the rotating mass any.

those oem dunlops...yeah .
