Wheels
Hi all,
Just picked up a Reg cab Tundra. It comes with the steel wheels and covers. I'd like to replace these with some alloy wheels. (I don't really like covers). Anyway, any suggestions on some wheels? Sorry for the general topic. Any difference in the size (width) of the steel wheels and the alloy? Thanks.

Also, there is a specific Tire & Wheel section of the photos that you can search. You will find lots of good info and pictures there.
Tires & Wheels
Good luck,
Andy

Benson,
What size tires do you have?...245?...265? The 265s come on 7" wide rims for both steel & alloy. 265s fit OK on 8" rims, but if you have 245s you don't want to go wider than 7", which will make it difficult to find aftermarket wheels. TS classifieds or
ebay are good places to find stock alloy 7" wheels.

Thanks guys. I have the stock 245/70R 16's. I went to
tirerack.com and found some things but I haven't done anything yet. They recommend 265's for the 16x8 rims. Not sure what I'll do yet. I don't want an expensive wheel for a reg cab work truck, I just don't like the wheel cover thing. Thanks.

Or, find somebody who's replacing their original styled steel wheels and will send them to you for the cost of shipping or maybe a bit more.

Hey thanks guys. I didn't notice an email. Hope I didn't delete it by mistake. Yeah, if anyone discards their alloy wheels I'd be interested in them. I have the steel wheels. What do you think about Eagle wheels, are they OK? I think I'm going to stick with a 16x7. Thanks.
