Anyone use this or a similar mount in their hitch? Amazon.com: Master Lock Adjustable-Height Zero-Tilt Ball Mount #2841AT: Home Improvement

If anyone has a good recommendation I would love to get one.....

I've used the B&W adjustable (Tow & Stow) for a few years now, and don't plan to buy any other. I never use the "Stow" feature, though--I just take it out and store it.

You don't plan to buy another because you like this one or because you don't like it..... please clarify

I bought the MasterLock a few years ago when I needed a lower mount after switching tow vehicles. Worked well, just haven't used it since as the ball seems to be welded to the nut and I have many other regular ball mounts.

I was looking into the Tow and Stow and was wondering if in the stow position it hangs down lower than a regular receiver sticks out. You know like if you go up a steep driveway from the street and the ball scrapes, does it do the same thing in the stowed position or is it really more out of the way. thanks for the response.

I have one of those (among my 7-8 ball mounts) and it works just fine, and is easy to adjust. If you need an adjustable mount, it's a good one.

I use a single bar WDH that comes with an adjustable. You need to remove two large bolts to change position, but it works fine. Another reason to consider a WDH in towing, they all come with height adjustable hitches.
