I crawled under the truck and found a wire harness plugged into a terminator on the frame. It has a blue wire for the brakes I believe. See attatched picture. Does anymore know if this harness will support electronic brakes? If so, do you know the part number or where I can order one? I need a 7pin harness.
I hate to install all new wires, or splice the ones that are there.
Also - I tried finding the harness upfront under the dsha or a brake unit, but have no idea what I am looking for. Any suggestions there as well?
Thanks for the help.

Many of the older T's have a harness that uses a few of the following colors for the rv style trailer harness. They change every few years so a continuity tester and a test light might be your best friends.
Try finding the Trailer Brake QC harness plug under the Top left side kickplate under the dash..drivers side.. could be you are lucky to have a tow package installed and you only need a toyota brake control pigtail.
If not, hardwiring direct is not too complicated. Get a good controller.. All come pretty well instructed.. In a jam, call 1-800stop-you for tech support from Tekonsha.. They are very good at assisting pro's and neophytes to install correctly.
Wire codes at last look were
12volt- Black with red stripe
Trailer brakes - red
ground white/black stripe
...always use a test light or go to a pro for the correct install.
Good luck
