Hitch compatability year to year & modulator

Hey guys - bought an 03 reg cab with the TO package, but previous owner removed the hitch. (don't ask why - I haven't the slightest) So I need a hitch, 7 pin connector and a modulator?? I'm told.

1. What does the modulator look like and where is it located?
2. What year hitches fit what? Will DC's and AC's fit a reg cab? (thinking of the junkyard route)
3. Anyone tried this?

Looks like she plugs right into the factory wiring - that's be nice!

I already contacted the previous owbner and he said he doesn't have it anymore - argh - why? why would you do that?! ok rant's over - any ideas on the above ?'s ?

I used a similar connector for my dad's t-100, and it worked great.
You'll still need to run the wires to the front for brakes and main power if you're towing anything with the 7 pin connector, but it's not that hard to do.
