Hearing from other Tundra members in here and my experience with towing you'll be in the 80% towing capacity of your Tundra and should have not issues. Tongue weight might be another story.
I towed a little of 13k last week, on a trip to Junction from Houston. Its about 650 miles round trip and it did quite well.
Please respect the people you share the highway with and not Tow over the Towing Capacity limits of your truck. You're no better than people driving excessive speeds in heavy traffic.

No problem. I tow a 34', 8500lb travel trailer. Pulled it 2200 miles round trip from Reno, Nv to Colorado. Averaged just under 8 MPG.

Most 3/4, one ton, semi, etc.... continually go over the limit. Do you think, all those 3/4 ton desiels, than have a 4 car trailor with 4 6000lb trucks on there, are legal? How about the load of PP material, that comes to my warehouse. One load came in today, that was 61k lbs. Trucker do it on a daily basis.
Your right, people do it all the time and at least twice a year I see campers demolished and scattered across the freeway with their pickup's on it's side from towing too much.
Currently I am in the market for a 14k lb 37 to 40ft toy hauler and I'm looking at Ford F450's and the Chevy 4500.
A friend of mine towed more than his Dodge Ram 1500 was capable of and lost control of his camper, flipped his truck and lucky for him his 5 year old daughter and wife only suffered minor injuries. He was fined by the WSP for exceeding the capacity of his pickup and was at fault. He had a difficult time with his insurance, but in the end he learned his lesson and now owns a 1 ton dually.

Yes, but that was a Domestic Dodge product, not a Tundra Wondertruck!!! Everyone knows a Tundra is capable of doing anything, even out-towing HD Diesels!!! Have you not been drinking your Kool-Aid???
13k is ONLY about 30% more than it's rated capacity, heck, why not tow 20K with it and make it an even 100% over? Surely it can handle it. Right Choco?
Just come on down here to the great state of Texas.
We do everything bigger, including what we tow with our trucks.
I have a question for all the overweight cops on this board:
If a tractor trailer has an overweight permit to haul a load that is over 80,000 pounds gross, and he is pulling it with a regular tractor that is rated for 80,000 gross, is he breaking the law? He has his permit, but the truck rating is not the same as the load. They do that all the time in every state, should they be jailed for towing over their rating?

Nope, but he has added speed and other restrictions when operating on a special permit. That's a poor analogy, that's like saying that because an ambulance can drive over the speed limit, so should you be able to.
