I'd love to see a structural analysis of the static and dynamic loads on the system once the 4" offset ball and 9" offset gooseneck adaptor are installed. Not saying it won't work, but I would want to know that the torque applied by 13" of offset will not snap my gooseneck.

As I said when I first saw the CrewMax stats, the bed is too short for a lot of truck buyers. Still haven't figured out how they can offer a double cab with an 8' bed and not a CrewMax with a 6.5' bed. Maybe next year.

thats what i was wondering also. just doesn't make sense. but then again, like you said, they might release it next year or as an 09 model.
