I hope there is an increase in the tow rating on the 2008 Tundra for your sake because 11,000 lbs. is more than what the 2007 Tundra is rated for. Congratulations on the new truck whenever you get it.
Honestly, if you're towing that much regularly, why not go with a 3/4 ton or better that was designed and rated for that much? there is a pretty big difference between a good 1/2 ton truck, and a 3/4 ton Diesel.
The prodigy brake controller is great. You can probably find it for cheaper than at the dealer
I would get both the brake controller and the weight distributing hitch. You are pushing the limit for half ton trucks like the Tundra and they will get you a little safety margin. That assumes that your trailer has electric brakes, if not then don't waste your money on the controller.
The Tunrdra is rated at 10100lbs regardless of having weight distributing hitch. Exceeding the rated tow capacity violates the law for one thing and could void your warranty.
If you do decide to get the prodigy from the dealer, make sure the dealer tech does not install it until you point out exactly where you want it, since there is no exact designated spot to mount it. Toyota parts does handle the prodigy, but I bet dealer cost is higher than one could get it for, and since it is plug & play you could do it yourself (if you choose) As for the weight distribution bars Toyota does not handle them as far as I know, so they will prob just run down to the local parts store and get them; so do they know exactly what part you need or want? If you do not wish to do it yourself, why not try a good reputable trailer/RV dealership as they do this stuff every day, and no wiring/plumbing is being done to your truck, so there is no warranty problems. I have worked at dealers before and have seen the problems that can sometimes happen when dealers are asked to do things outside of there normal tasks.
EDIT: when you say weight distribution weight bars; are you talking about the ball mount, or the spring bars to spread some of the load to the front axle?, Either way, the trailer should be present to know what amount of drop is required for proper trailer tongue height
The Tunrdra is rated at 10100lbs regardless of having weight distributing hitch. Exceeding the rated tow capacity violates the law for one thing and could void your warranty.
And if the unfortunate happens like an accident, you will be ticketed and automatically placed with some degree of fault...
What about all the weight of the mud that will be on the trailer and the Kubota from time to time. Probably should not be using a Tundra for your intended purpose.

Check online stores and I'm shure you'll find the P3 cheaper. I got my P3 for cheaper than a Prodigy plus no tax and free shipping. Installation was also a breeze, thanks to the prebuilt harness.

flinchlock, thanks for pointing that out.........
That is why I added my edit question at the end, I wasn't sure if he was talking about the weight dist spring bar setup, or just calling the ball mount by that name.
dirtytundra most likely knows what he is talking about, but sometimes the dealer people do not, especially if dirtytundra tells the salesperson and the salesperson tells the service and then the parts dept. Things get lost in the translation.
I saw the early promo Tundras at the dealers back in Feb/Mar, the ones pulling the heavy trailer, on 4 separate occasions, and only once was there a spring bar setup installed. Don't know how many of these trucks were on the road, the trucks could have been the same one every time for all I know, but only once was the tow setup correct and legal. So even Toyota does not know how and when weight distribution bars are need, or didn't care. It is good that Toyota offers the complete pkg, but I bet they charge a premium for it.
Thanks for the heads up about controller location. Anyone with pics showing theirs? I trust the dealer so I am going to leave it to them. Already met personally with the parts and service guys.
It is a weight distribution bar that as I understand it helps spread the load down the frame. Weight is close - depends on how much fuel is aboard and how close my estimate is for the filled tires (17.5L-24R4 & 10-16.5R4 because someone might ask). Tractor weight is only 7,760 dry, but my dump trailer weighs 4,350.
Most of the time I would tow it with my regular equipment trailer. Once a year or so I would need to use the dump. Want to be prepared since I know I will end up doing it.
My P3 location, I ordered an extra dash panel in case I screwed this one up or decide to remove the controller.
