From what I have heard, you are pretty much sol when it comes to towing a 5th wheel with a CM. I'm not sure about this info - I have not really looked into it since I have no interest in a 5th wheel.

Not sure about a crewmax and fiver but I do know that member "Only toyota for me" uses a gooseneck and seems to be very knowledgeable. Shoot him a private message or post on one of his threads. He will get to you.

I don't know if you'll be able to do a gooseneck with the CM. You could only do it for a v-nose horse trailer, not a house trailer. The problem lies in the cab-trailer distance. I have 53" cab-trailer & 41" from ball to front of bed. But i think you'll only have about 24". So you may be stuck with having to go with the expensive slider.
Gooseneck gives you 100% use of the bed when not towing with an easy ball removal only.
You can put the B&W turnover ball hitch in your CM, but like i said i think it could be a problem for you. This is the same hitch i have in my DC but i got the 41" AFTER i installed a 5" offset that installs in the hitch. I still can't do a complete jackknife, but REAL close.

I have a PullRite SuperGlide Hitch in my Tundra CrewMax, and it does fill up the bed of truck. Can E-mail photos of bed-full-of-slider
