I don't know if you'll be able to do a gooseneck with the CM. You could only do it for a v-nose horse trailer, not a house trailer. The problem lies in the cab-trailer distance. I have 53" cab-trailer & 41" from ball to front of bed. But i think you'll only have about 24". So you may be stuck with having to go with the expensive slider.
Gooseneck gives you 100% use of the bed when not towing with an easy ball removal only.
You can put the B&W turnover ball hitch in your CM, but like i said i think it could be a problem for you. This is the same hitch i have in my DC but i got the 41" AFTER i installed a 5" offset that installs in the hitch. I still can't do a complete jackknife, but REAL close.
