I currently own a 04 Tundra Ltd, Access cab. The problem is that when I tow my boat these is a definite squat in the rear end because of the soft shocks. The boat, motor and trailer weigh about 5000 lbs. fully loaded. Has anyone had any luck with the air shocks on their Tundra's? Thanks for the advice.

If you're talking about air SHOCKS, most people have airbags & have been quite happy with them. I think they would help you quite a bit.
You can buy them on line for about $270 i think & they're easy to install. There's a couple posts here that can help you out.
I haven't heard anything good about air shocks, all bad.

Shocks are not designed to support any weight, just to dampen the movement of the spring/axle/frame/body. you could unbolt your shocks and the truck would sag just as much under load.
By far, air bags better than helper srpings in my opinion. A helper spring just stiffens the sring center but it does nothing for the spring bolts where they bolt on to the frame. The leaf spring, as it bends around the bolt, is the weak spot. Its still a single leaf at that point and thats where it will snap. The airbags transfer the load over a completely new load path from the axle to the frame directly, actually unloading your leaf springs. Much much better way to go. They are very easy to install on the 07 08 tundras. No drinlling required. Everything fits perfect on a Firestone Ride Rite set of 2445.
