Default Prodigy or P3?

We're getting our Firestone Ride-Rite 2445 air bags installed on Saturday along with a new brake controller. We thought we would get the Prodigy, but now I see there's a P3. Since we only have electric brakes and the P3 can also be used for hydraulic, I;m thinking that's the only difference? Which would you all recommend getting?

I have the original Prodigy, and have been very happy with it. It looks like the P3 just adds a fancy display and the ability for extra brake setup options (which you don't need). If you want to save a little money, buy the Prodigy. On the other hand, the display on the P3 is quite a bit nicer and it's not much more expensive. I'd get the P3 just for that alone.

I've the my Prodigy in three different trucks and still love it. It's been dropped going from truck to truck and still works great.

Camping World Shop Camping World. in Fife has the P3 in stock and seems to have the best price locally.
I am sure you can get a better price online if you wanted to wait for it.

Thanks for the information. We did price it at Camping World, but since Ballew Hitch is installing our Firestone Ride-Rite airbags this Saturday, we're also going to have them install the P3. Thanks again!

You'll love the P3!
Did you get a compressor and/or tank for your bags? Which one did you go with and why? I have some Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 (57299) bags on order but haven't decided on a compressor/control set-up yet. I like the convenience of the automatic systems, but I'm pretty sure I want a tank and more manual control.

We decided to not get the compressor (too expensive). We are ordering a small portable compressor to take along on trips though. We'll be taking our trailer out the weekend of April 25th and will report back!
