I have a 07 Tundra DC.
I just installed a PullRite SuperGlide 14K Hitch.
I was planning on using Firestone Air Bags (If needed) but after looking at their installation instructions I noticed that the airbags use the existing hole in the frame to route the elbow/stem for the bags through. This will not work for me because I have a mounting bolt from my SuperGlide hitch in very close proximity and there is not enough room for both.
Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

So what can you tell me about Super Springs? Pros/Cons/Opinions?
Thanks in advance.

Am I reading right that the only conflict is the air hose routing? If so, I don't think you have a problem. There are plenty of ways to route the hose and plenty of frame holes. I looked at the installation instructions for your hitch (nice one, btw ) and unless there's a conflict with the mounting plate for the bag support itself, I think it can be easily worked around. If PullRite and Firestone made their products incompatible, they need to pull their heads out. I'm pretty sure you should be able to make it work.

I like the idea of calling Firestone for a workaround solution. Really, the bags are just a much better solution than springs. If you put a helper spring on you still have done nothing to strengthen the single top leaf which bends around the bolt which attaches to the frame. That bent top spring will snap if overloaded. The bags share the load with another load path, actually unloading that spring. Much preferred.

Do you have a contact number for Firestone?
I just spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to google it.

Hi Bill, Below is a place to start contacting Firestone. By the way, we just installed our airbags last Saturday and have the PullRite slider hitch as well. There were no problems on our 2007 DC. Good Luck

Awsome! That is great news. That means there is hope yet.
Did you do the install yourself?
No, neither me or my husband are very handy, we just know how to research and spend the money! We had ours installed by a local hitch company. They also installed our P3 brake controller at the same time, whick we already really like! Good luck!

Nothing wrong with that. I have made contact with Firestone and hope to have an answer soon. Thanks again for the information.
