Default Prodigy brake controller

Hey guys I am in the process of taking off my prodigy brake controller off of my 01 tundra and installing it in the 08 tundra. Is there a harness that Toyota sells which is a direct plug and go without having to do any wiring. Or do I have to use the Prodigy wire and connect the wires behind the kick panel and the glove compartment.

Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question but I can fix a lot of things but I am not to confident when it comes to electrical stuff.

Tekonsha sells the direct plug in harness but there should be a generic harness in the glovebox. Otherwise, check if your old one works in the new truck. It looks like Tekonsha only sells one Toyota harness.

You can pick up a harness at any towing store. The 2001 had to be hard wired - there was no plug behind the kick panel. The 2008 will have the plug behind the kick panel - so you can wire the plug onto the brake controller at your kitchen table - then simply plug it in.
