Default Prodigy ground wire

Hey guys I recently upgraded from a 01 Tundra to the 08 Crewmax and I am going to install my Prodigy Brake controller. I recently received my harness which is supposed to be direct plug and play but I noticed it had a ground wire attached to it.

I read in another post that the ground wire does not have to be used. If so that would be great. But if it does need to be attached is there a certain place where everyone is bolting it to. I figure it does not need to be attached because the harness that toyota provided in the glove box does not have a ground wire. Anyways I would like to get any feed back.

Default Re: Prodigy ground wire

I just went ahead and grounded it.
Put it with a couple other grounds behind the driver's left foot kick panel.
