Imdone - now you need matching rims and a lift kit for your trailer! Hope you got that dangling cable thingy hanging beneath your trailer plugged in or secured before you pulled out.
Here's mine, a 2004 26' Outback RS bunkhouse model:

I would love to get matching wheels for the trailer, but RBP doesn't make them. I may get some that look kinda close though! I don't know about the lift, I think it will effect the way the trailer tows, not sure about that, but as of now it goes everywhere I need it to.
It's plugged in and the fridge is staying cold I make sure to unplug it before I drive off!!!
Oh yeah, thanks for the tip on the Atwood!!! That is SOOOO much better than cranking!!!

Just pulling your chain on the matching wheels and lift.
Good! I just couldn't quite tell what that was from the pic.
You're welcome! Yeah, the Atwood does make life easier!

Hello guys/gals. First off let me say that this is a awesome site with tons of information. I'm surfing here just to see what you have been saying about the mighty Tundra and saw this post for the pics. Taking a look and I see a couple tri-axle trailers. But I'm wondering exactly what rigger tows in that huge car hauler and how does the tundra handle the load. What mods does you have? Not to start anything but the guys over a rv.net would talk big trash about imports if they see that pic. but you guys tow some serious weight with your trucks..keep it coming
2005 Rockwood 26' 5'er, Michelin LTX MS tires, 270 watts of solar on the roof, 4 T-105 golf cart batteries, Xentrex converter, Outback FX2012T inverter/charger.
If you can't take it with ya, why bother with an RV!
2000 Tundra (bought 9/9/99)

Gone but not forgotten~
I'm down here at Ft. Wilderness in Florida, towed my trailer over 1000 miles through mountains, no problems, got 9mpg the entire time. To my surprise there was another Tundra and a Sequioa in my loop. I road my bike around all 20+ loops and saw quite a bit of Tundra's towing everything from pop-ups to 5ers. Biggest surprise was I saw a single cable, short box TACOMA towing a 5th wheel. If it's still there and I can find it I'll get a pic.
Wow! A couple of years ago, I attempted to pull my travel trailer to Ky. for a family reunion. The only problem was my 1500 Chevrolet Silverado almost died climbing Back Mountain. I came home bought a Tundra, and now Black Mountain is not a problem.

Funny you mention that. Just last night I towed my trailer back from Fl to OH (we left SC yesterday) and in some of the mountains in either NC or TN there was a 1500 Chevy with its bumper practically on the ground going up the mountain at 45mph holding back all the traffic. I was able to accelerate my 10,000lbs camper around him and up the mountain back up to 65mph. Sad thing his camper was half the size of mine.
