anyone in new jersey know for sure what highways i can tow a full car trailer(uhaul style) on?i need to tow my buddy's car down to howell,nj and people are telling me to take the garden state parkway.i know you can't tow on the turnpike,but i have no idea on the parkway.and if it matters,i'll be hopping on the parkway from rt 17 around the ramsey area,i think thats where the exit is.thanks in advance for the help.

You can tow on the Turnpike,I've done it several times. It's the Parkway you can't tow at,at least the last time I checked.

yeah thats the thing,i don't know if it changed either.i have people telling me that they tow cars down to englishtown on the garden state not on the turnpike.i just don't want to get a big ticket for helping a friend out.
Trailers are allowed on the GSP. According to NJ law as of 2007, a maximum length of 55' is allowed. Trailers weighing over 3000lbs. will require brakes

ok,thanks to the link that eddie supplied,i called the number,and just in case anyone needs to know,you can tow a car on a tailer on the parkway.thanks again for the link eddie.
