Default wiring connector not pre-installed on 2001 Tundra?

I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra with standard transmission. I just bought an old aluminum boat and trailer. First I realized Tundra has an odd hitch shank size to get. (more hard to find, can't pick one up at Wal-Mart) Well, I got the hitch ball. Now my friend who drives a newer Tundra than me tells me I might not have the wiring connector hooked up for the trailer lights. I thought all trucks came with pre-installed trailer wiring. Can somebody tell me about this? I have no idea on how to fix this, and it looks like they want a mint to get the connector, not to mention put them in. I need to pick up the boat, it's at my friend's house. But I don't want to drive all that way, and have to turn back cause the wiring isn't pre-installed.

If it isn't pre-installed, how much labor am I looking at on getting it installed?

Never mind. I took it to Toyota, and the wiring is not there. Now it seems nobody carries the wiring kit connector. I had a heck of a time finding a ball to fit the bumper too. The Tundra requires a 3 inch long ball, which is longer than normal. I am sure it is probably safer, just a hard item to find.
