We just bought a used 2006 Trail lite 8310s TT. We are taking it on our first trip the day after we pick it up. I want to surprise my wife with a flat panel lcd tv to bring along and place in the spot for a TV. Does anyone know what the dimensions are for their trail lites? I have seen most 30' trail lite models from 2005-2008 and the TV spots all looked about the same size. Thanks in advance.

If you bought it from a dealer, ask your salesman to go measure the diagonal dimension for you, if you bought it from a private party, ask them to do the same. Pretty sure that they wouldn't mind taking five minutes to go measure for you. By the way, where are you going camping? There are some nice state parks by you down there.

We are picking it up early so I have some time to buy something local if the price is good.

We compete with hunting dogs around the country. Most places we will be staying are on the grounds of the trials. Some have hook ups, some don’t. Most everyone that travels also has trailers so we will be joining a large, fun group already. We don’t have kids yet but my wife is already looking at Camp Wilderness at Disney. I grew up camping and I want my children to experience the same things I was lucky enough to experience. My wife has been a real trooper sleeping in a tent for the last 3 years when we traveled so the trailer will be a nice upgrade. I haven’t even started looking into places to camp here in Florida yet but I imagine there are some nice places.

Fort Wilderness is an awesome campground, especially if you have kids. It's a little pricey, but they have full hookups which make it nice. We used to take the drive from Venice to Orlando about twice a year to go camping there.

We have a 28ft Rockwood. The TT came with a 20" HD wall mount but I upgraded to a 22". The bride, kids and yourself will love having the option especially if you go HD and get some Blu-ray movies.
It is really tough looking at regular movies after. Depending on where it all will be installed and if you are looking at a DVD player maybe spend the extra an get a PSP3. This will handle any DVD, Blu-ray and any games for the kids. It is a bit more compact than a DVD player if say room in a cabinet is an issue.
