Default Hitch Class & wiring Q's

hi - I just got an 07 Crewmax LTD w/ the tow package, and have a couple of questions:

1. Is it pre-wired w/ a charging circuit to charge the batt on the trailer? (it has the 7 prong plug there, just not sure if that part is hooked up)

2. What class is the hitch that comes on those?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, it is prewired for a charging circuit but is only HOT when the truck is running. The minute you shut the truck off, there is no power. Nice feature so you won't run down your battery.
All 3 of our tundra's with the tow package charge the trailer's no problem. Just a simple plug and play for us.

Your wiring harness for the brake controller is taped to some wiring behind the drivers side kick panel. Piece of cake to hookup.

I'm not sure what class hitch it is but, you're good for 10500 lbs towing when using a WDH (5.7L). The OEM hitch is by far one of the strongest if not thee strongest available on any truck.
