Default Correct WDH setup?

I have my weight distribution hitch install by a friend who is a 5 year RV tech. my front and rear end of my truck seem level but my TT is slightly leaning forward. Is this good? i thought the trailer should be totally level.

Level is desired but sometimes the mounting holes on goose neck just won't let it happen. A small amount of nose down is better than nose up as the trailer will drag the rear skid bars going up inclines like driveways and such if the front is too high. You can measure and see if there are hole positions for the ball mount that will bring it closer to level or sometimes all you need to do is turn the goose neck over and there will be better hole positions for the ball mount.

Down is better than up, with up you can get that "wag the dog" feeling as it will cause the trailer to shake from side to side. Try getting some airbags and lifting the rear end a bit.

Adjust the height of your hitch. Level your trailer with the front jack and measure the back of the trailers height and the front of the trailers height, use the bottom of the trailer as your guide. Then measure the height of the ball and add two inches. This should bring you close to level with the front of the trailer up a bit. When you load your trailer distribute the weight evenly in the unit. Crank the WDH and it should bring it close. As for nose up, no more then 3/4" in my opinion. Happy camping.

Right now I have 5 links showing. I'm think If I bump it up to 4 links showing I might be perfectly level. is 4 links showing ok?

"is 4 links showing ok? "
That changes from truck to truck and trailer to trailer. How many links you drop depends on hitch weight and how high the ball mount sits in front of the coupler. I would be surprised if dropping one more link lifts the front of the trailer very much. If the truck is already level most likely all it is going to do is make make your truck ride like a skateboard. For normal highway towing I drop 4 links but if I know I am towing over really nasty ground I drop 5. The difference between 4 and 5 links is maybe half an inch on my truck, but my truck is a Tacoma not a Tundra and I don't know if Tundra has better designed rear suspension than what Toyota stuck on the Tacomas.
