These things are pricey but they work. They aren't 1950s technology that dampens sway once it starts to happen, they remove sway from the equation. You can get a used Hensley Arrow for $1500. I've seen them for less.

that Hensley Arrow looks really good. if i had a long trailer i might be tempted to try it. my trailer is short, 18 foot, but very heavy. it is hard to get the pounds distributed just right, it's all gang boxes, tool boxes, welders, band saw, forklift boom, and other stuff. all my sway went away with air bags and E tires.
