Question Towing 18' bass boat with 06 Tacoma
Looking at changing my tow vehicle from a 2000 Tundra to a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Double Cab. Towing a 18' fiberglass astro with a 150hp outboard. Anyone have any experience towing a boat this size with a Tacoma?

I had a 18' aluminum bass boat that my 05 double cab towed with no problems other than the mini van rear suspension Toyota puts on Tacomas. Plenty of power even when loaded down with camp gear.

You won't have any problem at all. My 2005 Tacoma DC pulled a 24' travel trailer that weighs 5400 with no problem as far as power is concerned. Trying to control the load in a panic stop was a different story.
