I think Toyota put that "weak link" in there to slow all of us done some. Imagine how crazy we would all get if it had a payload over 2,000 lbs.! I have a brother-in-law with an 11.5 Lance Camper that would love to see this Tundra with a big payload... can you believe he wants to get rid of his 2500 Dodge.
2005 Rockwood 26' 5'er, Michelin LTX MS tires, 270 watts of solar on the roof, 4 T-105 golf cart batteries, Xentrex converter, Outback FX2012T inverter/charger.
If you can't take it with ya, why bother with an RV!

I don't think you are banned, but you have been put on the terrorist list... so don't know if you can fly in or out of there.
Hey guys, please don't go over to other forums to talk trash and then come back to TS posting zealous links about it. It makes us look just as bad as them when they talk down about our trucks. I realize we cannot govern your internet actions, nor do I want to, trust me. But I do want to emphasize that TS.com doesn't want to cater to or encourage this type of nonsense and its equally stupid retaliation.
Thank you for your continued support.

I apologize if I'm dragging anyone at TS into the mud on this. I really just went to describe towing with my Tundra, similar to countless posts they have on Towing with their F450, their Dodge 2500 Cummins, their GMC, etc. OK I was a little over on payload, which barely raises eyebrows if you are driving one of the above mentioned trucks, and I got seriously shat upon. I did not retaliate but nor did I just shut up about it, as I imagine they would have preferred.
I was a voice in the wilderness over there, and posted a link on TS to the conversation we were having about towing my 5th wheel with my Tundra.
In my opinion, there were a few jerks there, and they managed to jerk chains and so on back and forth and about 5 different threads were started only to end after the flaming started.
The degree to which some of them took themselves seriously was mind boggling.
Anyway, are we OK if I post non-zealous links? Simple observations? Or post the same question on this Forum which was immediately flamed beyond belief over there? Like this one: Is It Save To Tow At 75 MPH?
