Default Tow ball nut socket size?

When I recently purchased our new TT the dealer installed a 2" ball on the WDH that I am less than happy with. The ball threads dont extend past the nut as I thought they should.

Does anybody know what size socket the nut takes on a standard 2" ball as I would like to replace it with one that has a longer threaded section.

Our current ball is 2" rated at 6000lb our trailer is a ultra light GVW of 5000lbs if that helps as I know alot of trailers use a 2 5/16 ball not 2"

We have had the trailer out several times already I guess I am just looking for additional piece of mind and this is just another thing that the RV dealership skipped or missed during our purchase.

I believe you'll need a 1-1/2" wrench or socket. I believe the smaller balls take a 1-1/8" wrench.
