Default Aftermarket TPMS

I am in the market for a TPMS for my trailer. I previously had a 1st generation Smartire TPMS on another trailer. I was well satisfied with it but Smartire does not offer simple systems anymore.

There have been a lot of posts on TS praising the Pressure Pro TPMS. The one draw back that I can see with the Pressure Pro is no real time tire temperature information. Am I correct on this?

Does anyone have experience with Tire Stat by Mobile Awareness or Pressure Track by Hawks Head?

Thanks,
Bill

I've had a Pressure Pro TPMS for almost 3 years now. It worked great last month when returning from a 2,400 mile round trip to the Pacific Northwest. I was 3 hours from home on Interstate 5 in Redding, CA and suddenly the alarm started screeching! I made a quick glance at the unit and saw that the right rear tire on the Outback was going down fast! I was able to make it to the shoulder and even to a patch of shade. I hopped out and the tire was flat as a pancake. I replaced it with the spare and had the flat fixed the next day and it's back on the trailer now. I did NOT even 'feel' the tire was going down or flat. The TPMS certainly prevented the loss of the tire, my aftermarket rim (matches the Tundra, of course! ) and potential damage to the trailer.

And yes, you can get 'real time' temperature readings from all the tires. I played with that feature while driving through a rain storm up in Washington and saw the tire temps decrease while in the rain, then increase again by a couple of psi once we were back on dry roads. Kind of fun! I highly recommend the Pressure Pro model. Several T.S members have them and my Dad just bought one for his travel trailer too. In my opinion, these systems should be mandatory! OK, off my soap box now.
