Default Ball mount drop for Taco

All,

I'm adding an aftermarket hitch to my '05 4X4 Tacoma. I do not own a trailer, just need to pull home a trencher or tiller from the rental store every once in awhile. Anybody have a suggestion on the amount of drop I should get in the ball mount that would level the "average" utility trailer?

Thanks,
Paul
