Wuu Hoo, my wife and I are very excited as we just bought our 1st travel trailer!! We got a Flagstaff (made by Forest River) 26BHSS. It is 26' long and weighs 4300 lbs empty and 6300 lbs GVWR. So, the tundra will do an excellent job towing it! We will be camping in it at the Coke-Cola 600 this weekend, then we are heading to Myrtle Beach the next weekend (for the SouthEast Meet!)

Congrats on the trailor purchase. We to bought our 1st trailor this past Saturday. It's only a 19' but it is just 1 kid and the wife and I (oh, almost forgot our two city rats-mini Dachshunds). It's an older one but it is in great shape. Going to get the Tundra wired this weekend and get some new shoes on the trailor this weekend as well. Can't wait to go camping now after many many years of camping via tent..........
Congrats! Be sure to use a properly adjusted WDH with high performance sway control

Congrats! Be sure to use a quality WDH (with at least 1000 lb spring bars) that has high performance cam type sway control. With a relatively long 26 foot trailer (relative to your Tundra's wheelbase), you will need every bit of sway control you can get.
When adjusting the WDH, before hooking up the trailer, measure the distance from the top of the wheel arches over the front and the rear wheels to the ground and write these numbers down. After hooking up the trailer, measure those same front and rear arch-to-ground distances again and adjust the WDH spring bars (by dropping links) until the change in arch-to-ground distance (squat) is the same on the front as it is on the rear. If the rear squats more (typical), you simply haven't adjusted the WDH tight enough. This is probably the most mis-understood part of using a WDH...way too many people buy a WDH but don't snug the spring bars tight enough (a drop of 5 to 6 links is normally needed) and then try to fight remaining sag with truck suspension changes. As has been preached many times before, do not try to counter trailer induced rear sag/nose high front with changes to the truck's suspension...trailer induced sag must be countered by the springs in the WDH!
Tip: After the trailer is hooked to the truck...and the ball latch closed but before you hook up the WDH spring bars...use the tongue jack on the trailer to lift the trailer tongue with truck attached to slightly above the truck's unladen hitch height. Then hook up the spring bars...if the tongue/hitch are together lifted high enough, the spring bars can be easily deflected enough to get a 5 or 6 link drop. Otherwise, it's very difficult to deflect the bars enough to get a sufficient number of links dropped. Once the spring bars are attached, then raise the tongue jack. An electric tongue jack greatly speeds this process, BTW.

ALL that room for just two folks and a dog?! Hmmm... ya' know... a good friend would invite his buddy and his wife (just east of him) to stay with he and his wife (considering all that room of course) at the next Myrtle Beach Meet!

Excellent! That's exactly the kind of hitch you should be using.
Just be sure to properly tighten those spring bars to get equal squat on the front and rear suspension of the truck. As I mentioned above, this is the part that so often is not done right, in part because very high levels of effort are necessary to cinch those spring bars up if you don't use the tongue jack to pre-lift the tongue and truck.

I am sooo jealous! We are still tenting but mostly because we end up towing our ATV's with. I want to get the camper with the drop down back door. The last 6-10 feet are for ATV's. Someday! I've seen a few of them out there.
