Default '05 Taco TRD hitch mount ?

I have an '05 Taco DC with TRD Off-Road package. I am wondering what drop to get for the hitch mount to tow a 3 rail motorcycle trailer. I have not lifted the truck. Anyone know?

Regards,

zgw8

I don't know for sure, but wouldn't it be easier to chock the trailer in a semi-level position, back the truck up near the trailer and just measure how much drop you need? I'm guessing even with a loaded trailer it isn't going to sag the TRD suspension much, if at all.

Yeah - I thought of that. However, my truck is in transit on a train and I am collecting lots of bling to bolt on when it arrives. Its a disease. I was in Napa Autoparts and saw the cool alumastinger hitch mounts and thought "I gotta have one of those!" but waited not knowing what drop I will need.

Nothing wrong with collecting toys to put on the Toy when it arrives! I would wait and measure, just to be sure. I'd guess the standard 2" drop would do it.
