TACOMA:towing lights

Does anyone know how to hook up the lights for towing on a 04 Tacoma. My neighbor just put on towing hitch... on his 04 Tacoma and was trying to figure out how to go about hooking up the wiring for the lights. I know nothing about this but I told him I would post here and see what could get. Thanks in advance for any help.
