I recently attempted to tow a 8 foot wide snowmobile trailer. I have an after market class IV (Reese). At approximately 50 to 60 mph, the Tundra would shake your teeth out. I had a large ATV on the trailer. I removed the trailer an attached it to a 2500 series Tahoe. The vibration was barely present if at all at these speeds. In the end I left the trailer behind, and loaded the atv in the bed and drove it home that way.

Has anyone had this issue? Is it the truck or the trailer? Any ideas?

Up & down shake? Try more air pressure in the tires. You also may be about due for new shocks. I've had the up & down shake when towing a 39' flatbed trailer...no weight except the trailer, and I forgot to air-up the truck tires. I also may have a bad front shock...just haven't gotten around to pulling it off for a check.
