4Runner Tow Prep?

Does the 2006 4Runner come standard with tow prep? From the build menu it only appears that the hitch receiver is an option. Just wondering if I can bolt up aftermarket w/o additional mods.

Do you mean Bolt on an aftermarket Hitch for your 4Runner..

Thanks for replying ProEdge but I'm more concerned to know if the Runner comes with a transmission cooler, HD fan & alternator, etc. or are these part of a package? On the build program there doesn't seem to be an option for these items--only a receiver.

The 4Runners in Canada come with a Cold Clmate Package..
(Which is the same as the Tow Package..)
Including 7pin wiring harnass and hitch..
The Runners also have a HD Battery, HD Fan, HD Battery and Regular Tranny Cooler (Which is large, but not a HD Tranny Cooler)..
The 06 Runner will easily tow the rated 5000lb capacity..

I haven't noted any packages of the like with US models. Like you say 5000# ought to manageable though.
