Suggestion for towing 1987 4runner-dscf0205.jpg

I tow a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with a 2003 Tundra AC 2X4. The Jeep weighs about 3,900 lbs with camping gear, full tank of gas and some other things stuffed into it. The trailer is a 16' Big Tex 60CH and weighs about 1,700lbs. Paid $1,350 for it brand new out of a place in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. $1,500 with tax, title and license. Good trailer. Tows straight. Some things to watch for when looking for a trailer alot of them come with used tires. The tires that came on my trailer where new, but not very good. They wore out fast. Suggest getting around a 16' or 20' for resale value. Also I found that the dealers in rual areas tended to be quite a bit cheaper than in large metro areas. I drove 2 hours and saved $800 for the same trailer in the Dallas area. I hope this helps. PM me if you have anymore questions.

Bill
