Default 7 pin wiring 06' DC

I have been searching the forums while waiting on my 06' DC to arrive and have a question for the good folks at TS. Is the 7 pin harness already wired with the blue wire (pole 2) for brake contoller/ electric brakes, and is the center (aux) pin wired to the reverse lights? I am keeping my fingers crossed for "plug and play" instead of having to wire it up.

Make sure you order it with the towing package. The connector will plug in to a plug under the dash near the left kick panel and then you have to attach everything to the brake controller.

If the Runner is anything like my 05 Tacoma then you will have been given a harness to connect the brake controller to the plug behind the kick plate. Problem that I found though with the Toyota harness is that only one end has a plug then you have to figure out the wireing for the other side depending on the controller you purchase. Save yourself the hassle though... I bought a Prodigy brake controller and got the Toyota specific harness from them as well. Truely plug-n-play that way.

EDIT: Just noted that you said you were getting a truck.. profile still says you have a Runner.

I'm trying to find out about wiring an FJ Cruiser with the 7 pin. Will probably get a Tundra (with V8) for towing a 3800 lb trailer, but in the meantime wanted to wire in the prodigy into a boot so I can use it in both vehicle. Really appreciate the advice.

The FJ only comes with a 4 pin. I would just buy an adapter from a trailer store to convert it to a 7 pin and run the extra wires myself.
