Default Mirror Fitment

Ok, I know this seems far fetched, but here it goes. Does anyone know if either Silverado (99-06) or Ram (94-01) or F-150 (97-03) side view mirrors can be adapted to fit on a Tundra Double Cab. I dont mind drilling new holes, but does anyone know if the mounting triangle is close in size to the Tundra. I found some awsome aftermarket mirrors for Ford/Chevy/Dodges and was thinking about maybe adapting a set to fit my truck. I already emailed the manufacturer about making them for the Tundra and I offered to organize the first group buy. We will see what they say.

Default Re: Mirror Fitment

I should have checked that when I traded my 2005 Chevy for the 207 Tundra - the mirrors I had on the Chevy were Powervision power extending, heated, power adjustable with turn signal indicators.

If you could have the manufacturer put one of the triangular pieces on a photocopier and then fax you the template you would have an exact template to try and match to your truck.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

I contacted the manufacturer of those mirrors I showed in the picture above. They currently are in the design stages of making these for the Tundras!!! I was trying to find out what years and models they'd fit, since the Double Cabs and Access Cabs/Reg Cabs have different mirrors. The girl who I talked to was not at all helpful in terms of what and when. All she knew was that they are going to be available and she said most likely in about 3 months or so. They will be the same extendable tow mirrors as above which are pretty much a copy of the Ford Super Duty tow mirrors. They will be available ranging from full manual to power heated mirrors with built in lights and chrome caps on the front for $425.

Their website is www.gotmirrors.com which has all the details. They told me that they do offer bulk discounts, so I will be organizing a group buy once they become available.
