Great review! If I needed a truck to tow a big trailer, I would be at the Toyota dealership right now.
I do have a couple questions though. It said near the end of the article that the Tundra came in second for towing acceleration. I tried to find the specs. sheet to see who came in first but I couldn't find it. Anyone know where it is? Also, based on the video in the "Toyota beats them all" thread, the Tundra came in first for towing acceleration while towing a heavier trailer than what was used in this test. Why did the Toyota come in second when towing a lighter trailer?
Nice Job, although I have to say...it wasn't all that fair
Especially for the Ram, which came without any tow-package and in 4X2. Some of the trucks didn't have their tow-packages too.
I hope someone will present with some hard evidence (quantitative) with "the best" of each company and present their results not based on reviews such as "no problemo... mucho torque"

If I read the article correctly, the magazine told the manufactures to provide them with a truck outfitted in such a way as to maximize towing capacity. It's the manufacture's fault for not providing an appropriate truck.

Hmmm. the article clearly reads for the Dodge Mega Cab: The Trailer Tow Group added the wiring harness, 750-amp battery and Class IV receiver. So it was fitted out properly, with the exemption of the axle ratio being 3.73 instead of 4.10. But that would increase the towing ratio only up to 8,650 pounds. Not very much compaerd to the Tundra or the other trucks.
