Default is it ok to use 30 amp breaker for just two axles

for the 12v power supply to the brake controller tekonsha suggests 20amps for one or two axles, and 30amps for 3 or 4 axles. Is there a problem with using the 30 am breaker if I just tow two axle trailers. Would rather not under size the system if it is ok.

If you use a wire too small for a 30 a fuse the wire will melt before the fuse would blow, so you would have to make sure the wire is rated at 30A for the fuse to work correctly.

Yeah I think so , I tried finding a chart it looks like that guage is good for 60A if I am seeing it correctly. YOu could use a 12 G, its rated for 40a.
