Default Busch bests field for Toyota triumph at Talladega

In a race that saw 52 lead changes, Kyle Busch came out victorious at the finish to earn his second win this season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. Busch crossed the finish line under caution ahead of second-place Juan Pablo Montoya in the 188-lap race.
The win marks the third NSCS win for Toyota and Busch's seventh win in NASCAR competition this season.
"This Toyota Camry was just awesome -- I had a blast," said Busch, following the race. "First Jeff Gordon and then Juan (Pablo) Montoya -- those guys behind me were pretty awesome in helping push us and we just kept blocking them like we needed to. This M&Ms Toyota - this thing was strong and this Toyota had enough horsepower to power us to the win."
Busch came back from a lap down for his first win at Talladega.

A total of six Camry drivers led at least one lap during Sunday's race. Tony Stewart led seven times for a race-high 61 laps. Stewart led for the final time on lap 143 before a cut tire sent him to the pits and to the back of the field. Stewart was able to work his way back into the top-15, but had to cut his day short when his No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry was involved in a six-car accident.

Denny Hamlin was able to 'slingshot' to the front of the pack multiple times, leading nine times for a total of 37 laps and finished third.
"I had a car that just relatively could do whatever it wanted to do," said Hamlin of his No. 11 FedEx Freight Toyota Camry. "Whenever I wanted to pull up to somebody's bumper, I would push him as long as my water gauge would let me or as long as they could hang on to it."
Quote:
Brian Vickers led four laps and finished fifth to tie his top finish in a Toyota. Michael Waltrip also led four laps, leading on the final restart with five laps to go.
